Person: Why do I feel so down, so empty inside?
Alter Ego: It's because you're feeling lost and deprived.
Person: But why do I feel like nothing matters anymore?
Alter Ego: It is because dear you're in a state of depression, and it's hard to ignore.
Person: I don't know what to do, I can't shake this feeling.
Alter Ego: It's okay, we'll work together to start healing.
Person: But how can we do that, when I feel so alone?
Alter Ego: We'll start by talking and working on a plan to atone.
Person: I just feel so worthless, like I don't belong.
Alter Ego: But that's not true, you're special and you're strong.
Person: How can you say that, when I feel so weak?
Alter Ego: Because I know you, and I know what you can achieve.
Person: I feel like giving up, like there's no way out.
Alter Ego: But that's not true, there's always a new route.
Person: What if I can't find it, what if I'm just stuck?
Alter Ego: We'll keep looking and keep trying, even if it feels rough.
Person: I just wish I could feel happy again.
Alter Ego: We'll get there, step by step, even if it feels like a bend.
Person: I hope you're right, I hope we can make it through.
Alter Ego: We will, I promise, because I'm always here for you.
Person: But what if I never get better, what if I'm forever impaired?
Alter Ego: You will get better, I believe in you with all my heart.
Person: Thank you for having faith in me, I'll try to do my part.
Alter Ego: Remember, it's not about being perfect, it's about progress.
Person: But what if I fail, what if I regress?
Alter Ego: It's okay to stumble, it's okay to fall.
Person: But what if I can't get back up, what if I lose it all?
Alter Ego: You won't lose it all, as long as you keep trying.
Person: It's hard to keep going, when it feels like I'm always dying.
Alter Ego: I know it's hard, but I promise you it's worth it in the end.
Person: I'll try to believe that, even when my heart is heavy and my soul is bend.
Alter Ego: Just take it one day at a time, one step at a time.
Person: I'll do my best to remember, that the journey is mine.
Alter Ego: That's right, you are in control, and you're stronger than you know.
Person: Thank you for being here, for helping me through this woe.
And so they continued their dialogue, a conversation of hope,
A reminder that no matter what, they both could cope.
For in the end, it was the alter ego and the person as one,
A team, a force, unstoppable until the journey was done.
