Reflection Of Transformation

Like autumn rain, my tears fall,

Eyes as red as Asoka flowers,

My heart aches with every beat,

Like a blade that cuts and lacerates,

Piercing through my tender flesh,

Bringing me pain and distress.

I gaze and behold I conjure a foreign face,

One I don't desire to trace,

Why did I take this path, I lament,

Mentally, I feel like a dove caught in the raptors' lair,

Sinking in sorrow, I slip away.

In recollection,

I remember that fateful day,

The day I lay on the bed of transformation ,

And every imperfection was mapped and molded,

Wrinkles erased,

Lips plumped,

Fat grafted,

Buxom,

Wasp waist,

Buns like a lecherous baboon's hindquarters,

A voluptuous lass with class I yarned,

More injections,

Concoctions,

Decoctions,

Transactions.

A harrowing memory it was,

Darkness crept within,

Mangled and unsightly

A sudden transformation,

What have I done?

All this left me askew,

But here and now, I stand before the mirror,

My heart full of regret and sorrow bows,

And all the grief it brings me now

Like a sky on a cloudy day,

But I must learn to let it go,

And find a brighter path to steer.

Beauty is just a fleeting disguise,

A mirage that fades before your eyes,

True value is found within the soul,

And self-love should be your goal.

So leave this trail of pain,

And rediscover your true self again,

With tears no more, a smile on your face,

your true worth you will now embrace.

So break the shackles you bear,

And display to the world your innate flair,

Love your imperfections and all your might,

and shine brightly like a guiding light.

The mirror is just a reflective surface,

Reflecting back what you can't observe,

So take a closer look,

And see the beauty that you took.

your scars and wrinkles tell a story,

Of life's highs and lows, no secrecy,

So wear them like a crown,

And proudly exhibit to the town.

You are more than meets the eye,
