My lips are sealed, a voiceless plight

Stitches weaved, sewing me tight.

Nataka kunena, but my tongue's in chains,

Milele nimefungwa, endless pain.

In silence, my thoughts scream loud,

Moyo wangu wa-lia, beneath this shroud.

Neno moja, just one word to say,

But siwezi, For Iam bound this way.

My eyes plead with a burning ache,

Roho yangu imesambaratika, on the verge to break.

Trapped within this muted shell,

No words, no sounds, just a silent hell.

Dreams of freedom, to speak, to sing,

Ndoto za kuzungumza, cruelly cling.

Stitches hold me, a cruel jest,

Kimya kilichoshonwa, a bitter test.

Hope flickers, a distant star,

Nuru kindogo, shining from a far.

One day these threads will fray,

Nitatamka and have my say.
